Project Goal

  • The aim of this project is to create vocational opportunities in market driven trades and traditional crafts for the poor and disadvantaged women by developing their flexible skills, training and placement services in consonance with the markets’ needs and demands and preparing the women to face new economic challenges.

Project Highlights

  • This radical strategic approach to empower women through Garima has benefitted around 22000 women pan India, which imbibes its root in these women through skilling them into Cutting & Tailoring, handicraft, bangle Making, Jute Bag Making, Badi & Paapad making, Soap Making, SHG building, Agarbatti Making, Candle Making, Retail Marketing, Computer & counseling them into placements and Linkages.
  • Not just Vocational Skilling and capacity Building, project aims to curb various other social hassles which normally in India, women keep struggling with.
  • Wellbeing of Women is ensured through occasional health camps which keep a tap on their physical wellbeing and counseling to overcome physical and psychological jams are ensured.
  • Regular counseling to make them aware about various social, political and other rights, duties, needs and compliments are also demonstrated by subject experts.
